“It never had to be this bad. Donald Trump’s horrible mismanagement of the coronavirus is directly responsible for the death toll that just keeps rising.
“Early on, Trump downplayed the crisis and failed to ramp up testing. Then, he made the situation worse by rushing states to reopen against the advice of medical experts. Now, he’s allowed life saving measures like face masks to become a partisan political issue where his supporters are spreading the disease by refusing to wear them.
“There’s a reason why other nations are getting control of the virus while the US is in a death spiral. They don’t have Donald Trump leading their response.”
