Hospitals Reaching Capacity In Western Michigan
As Donald Trump continues his Keep America Sick tour in Michigan, Protect Our Care’s Coronavirus War Room Director Zac Petkanas released the following statement:
“It’s a new day and Donald Trump is holding another maskless, crowded super-spreader rally in a coronavirus hot spot, breaking local ordinances designed to protect people.
“This is especially outrageous given that the virus is ripping through Michigan communities as the third wave causes record-breaking spikes in infections and hospitalizations. It’s forcing Michiganders to confront, first-hand, the painful, deadly consequences of Donald Trump’s failure to control this virus — and in fact, make it worse. But this is what we’ve all come to expect from someone who spent the last eight months downplaying the danger of the virus, undermining experts, and mocking mitigation efforts like masks and social distancing.
“Forget whatever Donald Trump thinks his closing argument is – his decision to spread the virus with this reckless rally speaks for itself.”
