“Today, Donald Trump refused to address his own failed pandemic response at campaign rallies in Minnesota and Wisconsin, choosing instead to highlight boat parades, lie about the election being rigged against him and continue to spread misinformation about the virus magically disappearing.
“Meanwhile, his response has thrown millions of families into economic catastrophe, caused more than 5.4 million people across the country to become infected with coronavirus, and left 170,000 Americans dead – including more than 1,700 Minnesotans and more than 1,000 Wisconsinites.
“After months of undermining experts, pushing junk science and bogus miracle cures, and leaving states like Minnesota and Wisconsin to fend for themselves without an effective nation-wide testing plan, the pandemic is just getting worse and worse.”
