The $10 billion package is vital for continuing the fight against COVID-19, ensuring our economy can continue to recover, our schools and businesses can stay open, and people can keep themselves safe and healthy.
“Republicans have fought tooth and nail against any COVID-19 relief from the very beginning of President Biden’s administration,” said Coronavirus War Room Director Nicole Haley. “From voting against vaccine distribution to yesterday’s latest political ploy, it’s clear their goals are more about hurting President Biden and prolonging the pandemic than helping their constituents. Approving this funding should be a no-brainer in order to continue on the progress we’ve made. The Republicans who voted no must join with Democrats and approve more funding, without the partisan games, so we can focus on what really matters: keeping our communities safe and healthy.”
