Roundup: Republican Governors, State Lawmakers Continue Bad Faith Efforts to Roll Back Coronavirus Restrictions at Critical Juncture

By February 24, 2021No Comments

With the Biden Administration ramping up the distribution of vaccines and with coronavirus cases gradually declining, the end of the pandemic could be on the horizon. Still, with highly contagious, possibly more deadly variants spreading throughout the country, it’s more important than ever that Americans remain vigilant to protect themselves and others — especially as Congress works to enact President Joe Biden’s American Rescue Plan.

That’s why it’s so alarming that Republican officials — including governors, mayors, and state lawmakers — are taking action to drastically rollback common-sense health measures before it’s safe to do so.
