Lawsuits Threatens Safety of American Workers During the Single Greatest Occupational Health Crisis Since the Creation of OSHA

Washington, D.C. — On Thursday, November 18, 2021 at 11:30 am ET, legal and public health experts will join Protect Our Care’s Coronavirus War Room for a press call on the legal flaws and partisan nature of the legal challenges to the Biden administration’s rule seeking to protect millions of workers during the COVID-19 pandemic and explain why these highly partisan and ideological legal challenges are flawed and dangerous. The emergency rule, issued by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration (OSHA), requires companies with 100 or more employees to ensure that their workers are vaccinated or tested weekly by January 4. The call comes just after the lottery that assigned the case to the Sixth Circuit Court of Appeals.
