OSHA and CMS Vaccination Policies Are Essential to Protect Workers, Patients, and Families and Keep the Economy Strong

Washington, D.C. — On Wednesday, January 5 at 1:00 PM ET, legal and public health experts will join Protect Our Care’s Coronavirus War Room for a press call to discuss why the CMS and OSHA vaccine policies are essential to combat the COVID-19 crisis. These federal actions have been supported by a broad group of medical and public health experts, including through amicus briefs filed with the Supreme Court. With Omicron surging through the nation, it is clear that vaccines remain the most effective tool to reduce infections, hospitalizations and deaths. A failure to implement the Biden administration’s policies would severely and irreparably harm patients and workers and undermine the public interest. The call comes two days before the Supreme Court will hear oral arguments on both cases.
