NEW BATTLEGROUND DIGITAL AD: “It Is What It Is” Because Trump Gave Up
Ad Running in AZ, NC, ME, GA, IA, CO
Protect Our Care’s Coronavirus War Room is today releasing a new digital ad in Arizona, North Carolina, Maine, Georgia, Iowa, and Colorado slamming Donald Trump’s comments shrugging off the fact that 1,000 Americans are dying every day from the coronavirus pandemic as merely ‘It is what it is.”
The comments, made in an interview with Axios’ Jonathan Swan, are a clear signal that the White House has waved the white flag of surrender as the death toll continues to rise, infections skyrocket, hospitals are overwhelmed, lines at testing facilities grow longer and millions are out of work.
Americans can see this every day as Trump makes things worse by attacking his own experts, spreading misinformation about treatments and testing, and pushing states and schools to reopen before they’re ready to safely do so.
The deadly reality facing American families is a direct result of Donald Trump’s failure and disinterest in protecting American lives. It only “is what it is” because Donald Trump has given up on the American people.
NEW DIGITAL AD: With 156,000+ Americans dead, 1,000+ dying each day, millions more infected, and tens of millions out of work, all @realDonaldTrump has to say is "it is what it is." Mr. President, It only “is what it is” because YOU gave up on fighting the virus. #COVID19 pic.twitter.com/k6zUCrEkSH
