Dr. Fauci, Sen. Lankford Raise Concerns About Trump’s Upcoming OK Rally
As of this morning, both Dr. Anthony Fauci and Oklahoma Senator James Lankford have joined medical experts and Oklahoma state officials in expressing concerns about Trump’s upcoming in-person, indoor crowded rally in Tulsa leading to a spread of coronavirus cases and more deaths.
“If the fact that Trump is requiring attendees to sign a death liability waiver to attend his rally wasn’t enough to show how dangerous it will be, the warnings from both his coronavirus medical expert Dr. Fauci and Oklahoma’s Senator Lankford should make it clear that Trump is putting his own self-interests ahead of the health of Americans,” said Coronavirus War Room Director Zac Petkanas. “Trump knows this rally will lead to more cases and deaths, but he doesn’t care — just like he hasn’t cared that his failures have led to over 116,000 deaths and left tens of millions unemployed.”
