Coronavirus cases around the country are plummeting thanks in no small part to President Biden’s aggressive action to get vaccine shots into arms as quickly as possible. Just last week, the U.S. added fewer than 30,000 new cases a day for the first time since June of last year. COVID-19 hospitalizations have also dropped to 27,800, the lowest number since March 31, 2020 and an 80% decline over the last 125 days. As stories this week make clear, states are seeing cases go down thanks to President Biden’s all of government approach to make vaccines readily available to all who are eligible in record time. As nearly 50% of all U.S. adults are now fully vaccinated, Americans are seeing the light at the end of the tunnel as a return to normalcy begins to set in across the country.
