CLEAR TREND: Cases, Hospitalizations & Deaths Were Rising in Many States Before Protests

Coronavirus cases, hospitalizations, and deaths have been rising across the country ever since President Trump prematurely urged states to reopen their economies and allowed social distancing guidelines to expire. Now, protesters are forced to gather under particularly unsafe conditions as a result of Trump’s failure to take the crisis seriously.
