After months of downplaying the danger, undermining experts, promising that the virus would just go away, promoting junk science, rushing states to reopen and mocking anyone who wore a mask, White House Chief of Staff Mark Meadows finally said the quiet part out loud and admitted that they have no intention of getting the virus under control.
With more than 223,000 Americans dead, Meadows proved that Donald Trump and his Administration are determined to make matters worse as the country experiences a third wave that could potentially kill hundreds of thousands more.
