Iowa Reports Record Hospitalizations, Single-Day Death Total

Nevada Sees Cases Increase by 40% Over Two Weeks

NV Gov. Sisolak: “We Are Not Rounding the Corner… Anyone Who Says the Contrary is Lying.”

As Mike Pence continues the Keep America Sick tour in Iowa and Nevada, Protect Our Care’s Coronavirus War Room Director Zac Petkanas released the following statement:

Today, Mike Pence, the ostensible head of the White House Coronavirus Task Force, is choosing to endanger people’s lives by headlining two maskless, crowded super-spreader rallies in COVID red-zones.

“We’ve always known that Pence is more loyal to Donald Trump’s ego than the health and safety of the American people and every dangerous event he hosts proves it. Pence has been instrumental in Trump’s botched pandemic response, leading the charge in downplaying the danger and undermining experts.

“Nearly the entire country is trending in the wrong direction as we are catapulted into a catastrophic third wave of outbreaks. Pence knows how deadly the consequences will be. But today, he’s making the choice that those lives are less important than the applause lines he’ll get for Donald Trump.

“Americans won’t forget that kind of selfish indifference when voting ends on Tuesday.”
