Florida & North Carolina Both Experiencing Surges

Seven-Day Case Average, Daily Hospitalizations at All Time Highs in North Carolina

Florida Cases Increased by 47% in Last Two Weeks

As Donald Trump continues his Keep America Sick tour in North Carolina and Florida, Protect Our Care’s Coronavirus War Room Director Zac Petkanas released the following statement:

Donald Trump continues with his plans to infect every swing-state voter he can as he insists on holding two more maskless, crowded super-spreader rallies today.

“Every reckless event at this point only further proves that we’re in this mess because Donald Trump botched the pandemic response by downplaying the danger of the virus, undermining his own experts, and mocking mitigation efforts. Now, as the country teeters on the edge of an untenable third wave of outbreaks, he’s putting his indifference for the health and safety of Americans on full display.

“Trump may get the applause he craves today, but when voting ends on Tuesday, the voters will only be thinking about how he’s responsible for the crisis we’ve been suffering through for eight long months.”
