Pennsylvania Reporting Record Numbers of New Infections

As Donald Trump brings his Keep America Sick tour back to Pennsylvania, Protect Our Care’s Coronavirus War Room Director Zac Petkanas released the following statement:

“As the White House doubles down on its admission that it can’t get the virus under control, Donald Trump is personally putting the citizens of Pennsylvania in grave danger today by holding three mask-free, crowded super-spreader rallies in the state.

“He knows both the country and Pennsylvania are experiencing a third wave as a direct result of his insistence on downplaying the seriousness of the virus, undermining experts, and ignoring mitigation efforts like masks and social distancing.

“However, Trump just doesn’t care that his rallies are making the situation worse and risking more lives so he can hear some cheap applause.

“His indifference to the suffering of the American people during this pandemic is well-documented but it’s beyond the pale for him to continue literally spreading the disease with these superspreader events.”
