STATEMENT: Trump Again Defends Alien DNA Doctor, Ditches “New Tone” for Junk Science

At a morning news conference, President Donald Trump once again defended Dr. Stella Immanuel, now famous for her bizarre claims about the use of alien (as in extraterrestrial) DNA and blaming people’s medical problems on having sexual relations with demons.  In response, Protect Our Care’s Coronavirus War Room Director Zac Petkanas issued the following statement:

“This morning, the President continued to double down on the only message he seems to be able to stick to – pushing junk science on the American people and undercutting his own experts.

“Unfortunately, this is part of a well-established pattern so it should come as no surprise. Whether he’s telling people to inject poisonous disinfectants, hawking hydroxychloroquine which studies show to be dangerous for COVID patients, or attacking his top medical expert, Dr. Anthony Fauci, Trump seems allergic to providing the American people with accurate information. Instead, he seems determined to put their lives in danger.

“As humorous as alien DNA and coital relations with demons may seem, Trump’s determination to make confronting this pandemic more difficult for experts on the ground and in hospitals across the country is no laughing matter. Americans are dying because he is unwilling and incapable of taking the virus seriously.”
