Trump Shuts Down Nurse In Oval Office Who Tells The Truth: PPE Has Been “Sporadic” Under His Leadership
Earlier today at the White House, President Donald Trump shut down a nurse who was visiting the Oval Office and said that PPE has been “sporadic.” In response, Coronavirus War Room director Zac Petkanas issued the following statement:
“Once again, Donald Trump is trying to silence the first responders on the ground pleading with him to fix the dramatic shortages of masks he caused. Nurses and doctors are risking their lives and have been forced to use bandanas because they don’t have the life-saving equipment they need. Our health care system has never recovered from Trump allowing his State Department to fly 18 tons of personal protective equipment to China while US hospitals face shortages, and his ongoing failure to provide the personal protective equipment our health care workers deserve.
“Trump should immediately apologize to the hero nurse he tried to silence and articulate a plan to ensure there are no more mask shortages.”
Trump rebukes a nurse who says "PPE has been sporadic, but it's been manageable."
"Sporadic for you, but not sporadic for a lot of other people," Trump replies. "That was fine, but I have heard we have a tremendous supply to almost all places." pic.twitter.com/zOf2rWxvHx
